Pat Harper was born January 22, 1934 in Buffalo, Oklahoma.  She was the oldest child of Buck and Fran Harper. She left this life on Friday, August 2, 2019.Pat attended Buffalo Schools and graduated with the BHS class of 1952.  Throughout High school and several years after, she worked at the well-known Harper's Cafe.

On June 28, 1952, Pat married the Love of her life, Keith Lauer.   They were blessed with four children, C.A., Rob, Darla, and Tammy.
Pat continued to work for the family cafe as the bookkeeper for several years along with raising her family.   In 1978, she began working at the Harper County Assessors office, a job she cherished very much.   Pat also served as BHS Alumni President and each year looked forward to the Homecoming Festivities.   Pat was a member of the First Christian Church of Buffalo.
On February 14, 1980, Pat married her friend, Bud Stinson.  They spent their time together; traveling and creating many craft projects.  Together, in 1983, they opened Pop-in Convenience Store and took pride in serving the Buffalo Community.   Pat enjoyed playing bridge and established lifelong friends at the card table.  Getting gussied up and heading to Red Hat Ladies' activities was also a favorite time of Pat's.  She loved spending time with her family and making holidays always special.  She was known for her contagious laugh and smile. Pat was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Peggy, her brothers, Buster, Gene, and Les, her grandson, Blake Lauer.   Pat is survived by 2 sons and 2 daughters, C.A. Lauer and wife Paula, Rob Lauer and wife Tammie Jo , Darla Young and husband Stan all of Buffalo, Tammy Jordan and husband James of Ness City, Kansas; as well as 11 grandchildren, Ike Lauer, Sonny Lauer, Linaka Probst, Jesse Young, K.W. Lauer, Nick Lauer, Savannah Irion, Brittany Atchison, Kelsie Lauer, Lexi Parsons, Monica Jordan; and 10 great grandchildren, Lana Lauer,  Traden Lauer, Tanna Lauer, Blakelea Probst, Baylor Jones, Bentley Probst, Kambree Lauer, Presley Parsons, Ledger Lauer, and Brexlee Jones.
