Eileen Marie Hinther was born Feb. 10, 1930 East of Buffalo, OK to James Harold and Hazel Veda (Munson) Voris. Eileen and her family moved to the Kibby community when she was 4 years old to a farm her great mother homesteaded. She went to her first six years of school at Kibby and then went to Selman schools where she graduated in 1947. She married Harvey J Hinther May 31, 1947 in Coldwater, Kansas and celebrated their Golden Anniversary in the Lutheran Church, Buffalo, OK in 1997. She was a homemaker and farmerette, working with her husband and their family on their farm. Eileen was Baptized, Confirmed, and became a faithful member of Zion Lutheran Church in Buffalo, OK on Jan 25, 1948 by Rev. H. Wehmeier. She taught Nursery Sunday School for 29 years, was an organist for 40 years serving her Lord with gladness, and she was a long time member of the Lutheran Women's Missionary League. She was a member of Merry Workers Club for over 50 years. This union was blessed with three children, two sons, Gary Lee Hinther, Selman, OK, the late Ronny Gene Hinther, Escondido, CA and one daughter, Loretta Ann Cowger, Edmond, OK. Eileen departed this earthly life to join the Saints and her Lord on November 26, 2019. She is proceeded in death by her beloved husband Harvey J. Hinther on Dec. 31, 2006; her father Harold Voris in 1958; mother Veda Voris in 1962; one brother Clarence Voris in 1995; sister Hereldene Prince in 2014; sister in law Eileen Voris in 2005; and son Ronny Hinther in 2019. She is survived by her brother Joe Max Voris of Pueblo, CO; son Gary Lee Hinther and wife Julia of Selman, OK; daughter Loretta Ann Cowger and husband Lloyd of Edmond, OK; four grandchildren Tyson Hinther and wife Roxanne of Sperry, OK; Jessie Hinther and wife Valarie of Yukon, OK; Bryan Cowger and wife Liana of Hong Kong; and Deana Gay Cowger of Frisco, TX; five great grandchildren Caden Kole Hinther, Trenton Kratky, Kyndal Kratky, children of Jessie; and Landan James Hinther and Coy Jacob Hinther, children of Tyson; cousins, many friends and her favorite tomcat Wiskers.  The family suggests memorial to Zion Lutheran Church, Buffalo, OK care of Wilkinson Funeral Home.
