Obituary

Cheryl Rollins German Cheryl Ann Dowling was born October 22, 1946, in Healdton, Oklahoma, the fifth of five children to Artie Frank and Vera Alma Sims, Dowling. She left this life on November 13, 2020, surrounded by three of her eight miracles in Highlands Ranch, Colorado Cheryl married Jim Rollins on September 2, 1961, in Protection Ks. They adopted and raised three children; Tracy and the twins, Aaron and Karen. They owned and operated Rollins Construction for 22 years before Jim passed away on October 30, 1990. Cheryl was so proud to obtain her GED and graduate with an Associate’s degree from Dodge City Community College in 1991. Other than her children and grandchildren, this was her proudest accomplishment. On February 21, 1998, she married life long family friend Don German. He passed away on December 25, 1998. Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents, sister Marie Byrd, brother Artie Dowling and her two husbands Jim Rollins, and Don German. Cheryl is survived by her son Aaron Rollins of Dodge City and his two children Hayden and Rylie; her daughters Tracy and husband Mark Isenbart of Englewood, their son Marcus, and Karen and husband Brent Carmona and Dodge City, Kansas and their children Addison and Jacob. Two brothers Ray Dowling of Protection Ks, and Lee and wife Lona Dowling of Arnett, Oklahoma. Cheryl also leaves behind many nieces and nephews, and friends who hold special places in her heart. The family suggests Memorials to The Shriners Hospital or a Charity of personal choice in care of Wilkinson Funeral home in Ashland.
