Chandler Craig Farmer came into this world on September 2, 1989.  Born in Woodward, OK, he was the first child of Craig and Jessica Farmer.  Chandler left this world on March 22, 2013 at the age of 23 years, 6 months and 20 days to spend eternity in heaven with Jesus Christ.

Chandler spent his early years being with his dad and grandpa as they worked on the farm, in the field, working cattle, riding horses, hunting and fishing. He developed a love of the outdoors, the cowboy life, rodeo, hunting and fishing early that would continue his whole life.  Growing up he spent nearly every Sunday attending First Baptist Church- Buffalo, where he gave his life to Christ and was baptized at the age of 8 years old.  He was never afraid to explain to people that Jesus was his Savior and friend.  Chandler grew up a polite and respectful young man with a kind and loving personality.  When he graduated from Buffalo Schools, he went on to attend Oklahoma Panhandle State University. He returned home after a short time to help his dad on the farm.  Chandler held several jobs during his young life before going to work for his last employer, J & R Transport of Woodward, OK.  He was a member of several organizations including 4-H, FFA, NRA and the First Baptist Church of Buffalo.

Chandler was an avid hunter and fisherman.  He had a love for firearms and their history.  He loved riding horses and for a time rode saddle broncs.  He enjoyed spending time working and talking with his dad, “picking” at and loving his sister, caring for his dog Zella and his animals, spending time with friends and family, plus always finding time to visit and help his Grandma Farmer.
