Betty J Sullivan, 91, passed away Tuesday, February 16, 2021 in Duncan. A family only graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, February 23, 2021, at the High Point Cemetery in Buffalo, OK., with Bro. Jerry Hodges officiating.  Burial has been entrusted to Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral and Cremation Services in Marlow. Betty was born Saturday, February 1, 1930 in Bristow, to Isaac Samuel May and Docia Fay (Richburg) Tallent.  She was a graduate of Bristow High School.  Betty married the love of her life, Harold L. Sullivan, on April 29, 1949 in Bristow, and they celebrated 44 years of marriage before he preceded her in death in June 1993. Betty lived in Buffalo for more than 35 years, but had lived in Duncan for the last 6 years to be closer to her kids.  She enjoyed bowling in her earlier years, sewing, and crafting.  Betty could always be found doing some sort of handwork or crafts, and she was the biggest fan of family sports. She loved her family and loved spending time with them, and especially loving on her grand-children and great-grandchildren. Betty will be missed deeply by all who knew her. Survivors include, 2 sons, Larry Sullivan and wife Pat of Overland Park, KS, and Gene Sullivan and wife Sara of Lawton, daughter, Jan Palovik and husband Mike of Marlow, 9 grandchildren: Ryan Sullivan and wife Katy, Brandi Sullivan,  Jaime Partain and husband Andy, Beau Sullivan and fiancé  Nikki, Tim Sullivan, Michelle Franks and husband Joe, Chad Waugh and wife Danika, John Palovik and wife Jessie, and Krista Cunningham, 10 great-great grandchildren, 2 brothers, Winford Tallent, and Terry Tallent of Tulsa, and sister, Sandra Pledger and husband Tom of Tahlequah. Betty was preceded in death by her husband, parents, grandson, Christopher Sullivan, sister, Jan Bias, and 2 brothers, Basil Tallent and Bud Tallent. Betty's family would like to thank Chisholm Trail Assisted Living and Country Club Care, for allowing her light to shine brightly while in their care.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Beautiful Day Foundation, 807 W Main, Duncan, OK., 73533.
