Shirley Joyce Osborn was born on December 20, 1928 to Pat and Ruth (Lauby) Cofield, in Cherokee, Oklahoma. Better known to her family & friends as Joyce, went to school in Rosston, Oklahoma and Wichita, Kansas.  Joyce married John Calvin Osborn on August 25, 1945 in Wichita, Kansas.  Joyce was a farm wife who worked very hard on the farm with the daily chores. Joyce and John raised 6 children, Terry, Scott, Carolyn, Patti, Penny, and Sheryl. Joyce was a member of the United Methodist Church of Rosston.  Joyce was a lifetime residence of Rosston, Oklahoma and has spent the past several years in Buffalo, with her daughter Carolyn & husband Dickie Goldston. Joyce enjoyed raising baby calves and as husband and wife, they enjoyed taking a drive just watching the deer and turkeys, along with watching the cattle graze in the pasture. Joyce went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, October 4, 2013 at the age of 84 years, 9 months, and 14 days.  Joyce was preceded in death by her parents; husband John, May 10, 2001, daughter Sheryl Ann McGuire, September 16, 1999, daughter-in-law Linda Sue Osborn, May 20, 1998.  Joyce is survived by her sons Terry and wife Dana Osborn, of Clinton, Oklahoma, Scott and wife Julie Osborn of Medford, Oklahoma, daughters Carolyn and husband Dickie Goldston of Buffalo, Oklahoma, Patti and husband Dale Stephens of Guymon, Oklahoma, and Penny Merkerison of Woodward, Oklahoma, 1 Brother Larry Cofield of Mesa, Arizona; 25 Grandchildren and 36 Great Grandchildren and 5 Great-Great Grandchildren, other relatives and numerous friends.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM Monday October 7, 2013 in the Laverne Cemetery, Laverne, Oklahoma with Pastors Dale & Patti Stephens officiating, under the direction of Wilkinson Funeral Service, Buffalo, Oklahoma. CONDOLENCES MAYBE MADE TO THE FAMILY AT www.wilkinsonfuneralservice.com
