Randall Bishop

Randall Neil Bishop was born December 17, 1952, to William James “Bill” Bishop and Dortha Lee Long Bishop in Woodward, Oklahoma.  Randall attended Woodward Public School until 1968 when the family moved to Buffalo, Oklahoma.  Randall was a member of the FFA, Boy Scouts and dreamed of building homes.  Randall attended Buffalo High School, graduating with the class of 1971.  Randall had 2 older brothers, Danny and Alan, and a younger brother Michael the stories they would tell on themselves for the great times and great memories were made.   Randall was a hard worker; Rough necking, hauling hay with his brother for Bishop Brothers Hay Service, building and remodeling homes plus making furniture as a talented carpenter, farm & ranch work as well as reading wells for the Robertson family.  Randall could often be found enjoying the conversations & discussions with the “Coffee Table Club” at the local diner.  Not having children of his own, Uncle Randall doted on his nieces and nephews.  The best quality he had was being the best uncle in the world.  He loved taking them on outings, attending their ballgames, giving them rides on the combine, teaching them to drive or just hanging out with them.  The smile he had when they were around told of how much love he had for all of them.  Randall was also “Uncle Randall” to many other local kids as they were growing up, a positive and Christian influence in their lives.  Randall accepted Christ as his personal Lord and Savior at an early age and was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Buffalo.  There was no doubt that Randall was very strong in his faith as his bible accompanied him daily in his truck. Randall was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Danny Gene Bishop.  Randall entered thru the pearly gates into Heaven on Thursday, June 14, 2018 at his residence.  Randall is survived by brothers; Alan  and wife Tammy of Buffalo, Oklahoma, Michael and wife Donna of Alma, Arkansas, nieces; Shasta McWhorter and husband Allen of Arnett, Oklahoma, Shannon Clark & husband Levi of Buffalo, Oklahoma, nephews; Bryan Bishop and wife Christy of Greenwood, Arkansas, Tim Bishop and wife Angelique of Bryan, Texas, C.J.
