PEGGY STANPHILL

BUFFALO, OK.

Peggy Stanphill departed her earthly home unexpectedly October 21, 2023.  Peggy brightened every place and every person she touched. This world and the people that surrounded Peggy are all better because she touched us all.  We will miss that smile, that laugh, the special humor that was uniquely hers.

Peggy Earnest was born to Donald Edward Earnest and Helena Blagrave Earnest September 24, 1962.  She attended school in Turpin Ok and then attended high school and graduated in Buffalo, OK.  Peggy met her soul mate, Dale Stanphill in Buffalo.  They married June 29, 1982.  4 children joined this union.

Peggy graduated from Woodward Vo-Tech in February of 1992.  She then began her career as a nurse at Western Skilled Nursing and Therapy.  She shared her immense talent of taking care of the elderly and the infirmed here until her death.  She had such an amazing ability to make lives better for those she took care of.

Peggy attended Buffalo First United Methodist Church.  She loved the church because of the people she served our God with at this church.  Peggy loved Buffalo and the people in this community.

Peggy is preceded in death by her dear grandson, Trent Shuman, her mother, Helena Smith, and her brother David Smith.

Peggy leaves to mourn her passing her husband of 41 years, Dale Stanphill, their children, Laura Lane, Lacie Huckaby, Gary Stanphill, and Kristi St. Clair.  She also leaves behind their grandchildren, Cody Hoipkemier, Caden Kerr, Jayden Johnson, Brook Shuman, Dayle-Ann St. Clair, Wyatt St. Clair, and Lilith St. Clair.  Great-grandchildren, Aria Hunt, Sophia Olewenski, Azziah Hudson, Zelia Burchett, and Aleah Herren will miss the light that Peggy naturally shone.

Also mourning her passing are her brothers and sisters, many nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, cousins, and the community that she was such a part of.  We will all miss the sunshine that came from her.
