Michael Lee Cross passed away on May 20, 2026, at a local hospital at the age of 74. He was born on May 11, 1952, in Holdenville, Oklahoma, to Norman Lee Cross and Lavenia Cross.


Mike spent his life in several Oklahoma communities, including Wewoka, Yukon, Seiling, and El Reno. He graduated from Seiling High School in 1970 and went on to build a long career in the oil and gas industry, where he worked for many years before retiring in 2014.


An avid outdoorsman, Mike had a passion for hunting and fishing. He enjoyed traveling to Colorado, New Mexico, and Alaska in pursuit of adventure and was always on the lookout for the biggest game. His love of the outdoors created many cherished memories and stories that family and friends will remember for years to come.


Mike is survived by his son, Brian Cross; his daughter, Andrea Wilson and husband Chase; his beloved grandchildren, Ainsley Wilson and Cutter Wilson; and his sisters, Gail Richmond, Beverly Bowen, and Vickie Fallis. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will miss him dearly.


He was preceded in death by his parents, Norman and Lavenia Cross; his grandparents, Frank and Elsie Cross and Bud and Lucille Conger; his aunt, Hazel Conger; and his former in-laws, June and Ed Jordan.


A memorial service will be held at Crawford Funeral Service in Edmond, Oklahoma, on Sunday, June 7, 2026, at 2:00 p.m.


A graveside interment service will be held at High Point Cemetery in Buffalo, Oklahoma, on June 14, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. Wilkinson Funeral Service of Buffalo, OK.


In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Oklahoma Warriors Honor Flight or to a charity of the donor's choice.
