J.W. Bearden was born January 3, 1929 at Colony, Oklahoma, to Andrew J. Bearden and Susie Ethel Bailey. J.W. was one of 12 children, he had 4 brothers and 7 sisters.  J. W. went to work to help his mother to raise his younger siblings by farming, picking cotton, and cutting wheat. J.W. and Ruby Joyce Temple were united in marriage on February 8, 1947 in El Reno, Oklahoma, to this union 8 children were born, Jimmy, Bruce, Sharon, Shelia, Brenda, Danny, Dale, and Troy.  J.W. spent most of his life in the Oilfield working on pipeline and working with heavy equipment, moving from Florida to California and from city to city during his life.  In the 1970’s J.W. and Ruby made their home in Woodward, Oklahoma.  J.W. hobbies included making furniture and wood working. J.W. also enjoyed working in the garden growing vegetables.  J. W. was preceded in death by his parents; wife Ruby Joyce Bearden August 27, 2009; one son Danny Lee Bearden; 4 brothers, Raymond Arnold Bearden, Hermon Elton Bearden, R.D. Bearden, Norman Lee Bearden; and 5 sisters, Pansy Mae Bearden, Anna Bell Bearden, Lottie Vern Bearden, Louise Bearden, and Pearl Bearden.    J.W. left his earthly home on August 30, 2015 at his home.  J.W. is survived by his children; sons, Jimmy Bearden, Colorado, Bruce Bearden, Oklahoma,  Dale Bearden, Wyoming, Troy Bearden, Colorado; daughters, Sharon Young, Oklahoma, Shelia Bearden, Oklahoma, Brenda Bearden, Oklahoma; sisters, Imogene Workmen, Jessie Posey, 15 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, family and other friends.
