Jeanetta Favour

d. January 12, 2022

Jeanetta Kay Favour, “Netta” was born on November 11, 1973, in Buffalo, OK to Larry and Genevieve Gibson.  She departed this life on January 11, 2021.

Jeanetta grew up in Buffalo, OK, where she gained her love for sports, outdoors and hunting.  She played softball throughout her school years, graduating as a Buffalo Bison in 1992. Go Bison!

Jeanetta left Buffalo after high school and began her professional career.  Her jobs took her across the country over the years.  Her hard work, smarts and drive led her to excel in every job she took.  This led her to Service Master Recovery Management where she continued to impress everyone and succeed.  She served as a National Representative with SRM.  Netta was always willing to put the company first, she was the first to volunteer for CAT duty around the country at all disasters. She would be the first to tell you that she bled ServiceMaster yellow.   Jeanetta was well respected for her performance and never backed down from any challenge that came her way.  She busted her tail end for her clients, many of whom have gone on to become treasured friends.  It didn’t matter whether she was shoulder deep in flood waters or living on beef jerky and energy drinks for days, she gave all she had to support her SRM team. Jeanetta was full of passion for people and animals that shined bright in every aspect of her life.

Netta is loved by everyone she came across in her life, both personal and professionally - she returned that love to all with her amazing personality and beautiful smile.  She loved her animals; she was the Number 1 dog Mom and has the mug to prove it.   Her dogs were her babies, she loved them and nurtured them better than most mothers do their children.  She was an amazing woman.  Everyone that met her is far better for knowing her.  She was a gorgeous woman, and her inner beauty was illuminating - lighting up every room she entered.  Jeanetta was strong-willed and spoke her mind, she was never afraid to stand up for herself.  She would fiercely defend and/or stand up for loved ones, she didn’t hesitate to bring the honey-badger side of her out if needed.   She was special and will be missed and loved forever.  She had a great zest for life, loved to travel and meet new people.  She had an edgy sense of humor that may have pushed boundaries of social norms & political correctness at times, but was always funny, appropriate for the situation (at least in her mind) and brought laughter and joy to those around her.

Jeanetta was preceded in death by her parents, Larry & Genevieve, and her nephew Tye Lee.  She is survived by her sister, Glenda & husband Emmitt Lamon, their children Dillon Gibson and wife Kayla, Samantha Myers, and husband Blake, KJ Helmuth, & Grace Helmuth.  Her brother, Larry Jr and his wife Candy, their children Shelby, Brooke & Ryan.  Greg Merrell and his children, Trever, Dylen, Sydni, Madi & Anna.  Along with her children Jaxon & Rus-T and numerous family & friends.
