Jackie was welcomed to life in Enid, Oklahoma, by her father and mother William Smith & Olive Smith ( later McGough). Jackie went peacefully to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus, on December 22, 2025, with family close by her bedside.

Jackie spent the majority of her childhood and teenage years in Buffalo, Oklahoma with her family, attending Buffalo Public Schools.

Jackie and Roger Stafford were united in marriage on May 25, 1963 in Clayton, New Mexico. They made their home in Moore, Oklahoma where Jackie was a stay at home mother to her daughters, Cindy and Debbie while Roger drove a milk truck. Jackie and the girls would spend many weekends in Buffalo, Oklahoma at grandma Olives house.

When the girls were older, Jackie started working as a cashier at Scott Dry Cleaners in OKC. She enjoyed meeting people and made lifelong friends. Later she enjoyed working as a small loan officer so she could help others with financial needs. She cared about others and it showed with her lifelong friends she made.

Jackie was a member, for many years, of First Southern Baptist Church in Del City. It was there that she came to know Jesus as her Lord and Savior in 1987. She helped her husband , Roger, to start going there and he also accepted Jesus. The two of them were Baptized in late 1987 at the same time.

Jackie always loved animals-at least after her first encounter with her grandparents goats. One goat took her straw hat off her head and ate it when she was 5. She had four special fur babies in her life over the years. Smoky a German Shepherd when the girls were quite young. Duchess her cat in Moore. Corky - her chihuahua dog (treated like a son) that got a hamburger patty at McDonald’s drive thru once a week until he passed at 11 years old. And Callie, her ( cat, child , boss)for the past 6 years which will be lovingly re -homed. Jackie was preceded in passing by her father and mother - William Smith and Olive, her husband Roger Stafford, brothers Larry Smith, Bill Colby, Frank McGough, step father Gene McGough, and grandparents AE and Mattie Green.

Jackie lived a long full life filled with love and memories she took with here and left for all of us.

She leaves behind to miss and love her always her two daughters, Cindy Coburn and

Debbie Taylor and husband Steve. Five Grandchildren, David Coburn, Venessa Taylor, Whit Taylor, Angela Coburn and Cassidy Taylor. 12 great grandchildren, Lexie, TJ, Addison, Liam, Amelia, Haylee, Jensen, Olivia, Rylie, Maddox, Cody, and Lorelai. Her sister, Toni McGough Mounce, numerous nieces and nephews and Callie her fur baby and many lifelong friends.
