Gregory Lee Dies, 74, of Buffalo, Oklahoma, left his earthly home and went to be with his Lord and Savior on July 17, 2026.

Greg was born on May 8, 1952, in Alva, Oklahoma, to Richard and Nona (Howard) Dies. He grew up in Selman and attended Selman Schools until the school closed. He then attended Buffalo High School, graduating with the Class of 1970. He continued his education at Oklahoma State University, where he earned his degree in 1974.

On May 17, 1974, Greg married Ramona Bentley in Buffalo, Oklahoma. Together they built a life centered on faith, family, and agriculture. For 52 years, Greg and Ramona farmed and ranched east of Selman, dedicating themselves to the land and their family. Greg and Ramona are members of Zion Lutheran Church, Buffalo.

Greg is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Ramona Dies; his daughter, Amie Gates and her husband, Danial, and their son, Conner; his son, Kyle Dies and his wife, Kelleigh, and their children, Waylon and Molleigh; and his older brother Rick Dies and his wife, Paula, and his younger brother JR Dies and his wife, Patti, and their families.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Nona Dies.

Greg will be missed by his friends, church family, and family. 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to Zion Lutheran Church, PO Box 632, Buffalo, Oklahoma 73834. 

Simply saying good bye will be Monday July 20th from 3:00PM - 6:00PM at Wilkinson Funeral Service. 

Memorial service will be at 11:00AM Saturday July 25, 2026 at the Zion Lutheran Church Buffalo, Oklahoma.
