Glenda Ingraham, 95 years old resident of Buffalo, Oklahoma left her earthly home on October 30, 2025, at the Western Nursing Home, Buffalo, Oklahoma.
Glenda Lee McDowell was born on November 10, 1930, on (her father’s birthday) in Mooreland, Oklahoma to Earl and Tresa (Vogt) McDowell. Glenda grew up in Mooreland, Oklahoma and graduated with the Class of 1949 from Mooreland High School.
Glenda married Walter Ingraham on May 29, 1949, and to this union 4 children were born Darrall, Steve, Karen, and Connie.
Glenda worked a short time at the Buffalo High School in the kitchen until Connie graduated and then she retired and spent her time doing the many hobbies she loved and babysitting her grandkids and great grandkids. Glenda’s best loved hobby was counted cross stitch and Walt told her many times that when she passed on, he would set her in her chair with a cross-stitch project in her hands. She enjoyed making Christmas Stockings, quilts, stuffed animals, and crochet items for everyone in the family and friends. Children, grandchildren, and many friends were recipients of her hand-work.
Glenda was preceded in death by husband Walter, son Darrall, daughter Connie, son in law Ronnie, grandson Tyler, great grand daughter Emmerson Najera.
Glenda is survived by son Steve Ingraham and wide Som, daughter Karen Hickman and husband Cody, daughter in law Lynette Ingraham, grandchildren, Jeff, Mike, Adam, Brett, Kyle, Patrick, Tanya, Brenda, Shane, Bryan, and Michelle, Numerous great grands, and many friends.
