George Dale Crouch, was born February 13, 1952 in Woodward, Oklahoma to Glen and Inez (Abercrombie) Crouch. George and his family spent time living in Colorado, Mississippi, Kansas and Oklahoma. George graduated from Buffalo High School in 1970, then attended Panhandle State University and later went to Missouri Auction School in Kansas City, Missouri. George would go out of his way to help others. He frequently volunteered his auctioneering skills to charities including the FFA’s programs in Laverne & Fort Supply, Oklahoma. George was a member of the Elk’s Lodge in Woodward, Oklahoma and the Northwest Cattleman’s Association. George enjoyed telling his stories, like his father, which were “mostly” true. He loved his kids and grandkids and was the best  “Amigo”  his kids could ever know. George always had a smile readily available, never met a stranger and was continually giving everyone he knew a “Hard Time” to make them smile and laugh! George enjoyed hunting and collecting his antiques. George in later years met his fiancée Debbie Davis, the “Heart of his Heart”. George left his earthly home on January 31, 2014 after a short illness. George was preceded in death by his father Glen, his brother Galen, and his sister Sherry. George leaves as his survivors, his mother Inez Crouch, sister Joyce & husband Glenn Dean Lake both of Buffalo, Oklahoma, sister Glenda & husband Bob Ramsey of Bartlett, Nebraska, son Phillip & wife Gail of Tulsa, Oklahoma, daughter Jennifer & husband Ken Widman of Overland Park, Kansas, step daughter Darci Immell of Overland Park, Kansas, fiancée Debbie Davis of Woodward, Oklahoma, and his 6 grandchildren Alex, Avery, Liam, Jake, Amelie, Carter, and nephews, extended family and many many friends. He will be greatly missed.
