Frances Louise Ketron was born February 5, 1931 to William Franklin and Olive Gertrude Gallaher in Wellston, Oklahoma. Louise attended school at Wellston, Oklahoma. Louise work as a waitress and at the old Movie Theater. Louise met Calvin Ketron while he was constructing road in Wellston. Louise and Calvin were married in 1953. Louise and Calvin traveled across the State of Oklahoma while Calvin constructed the roads. Louise and Calvin raised four children, Calvin Wesley Jr. (Rocky), Sheila Ann, Danny Ray, and Dustin Patrick. Louise settled in Buffalo, Oklahoma in the early 60’s. Louise worked at the Carvers Grocery Store, Harper County Hospital, and the Family Farm. Louise move to Wells, Nevada working at the Long Horn Driving Dinner as a cook and as the manager of the Casino. Louise moved back to Buffalo, Oklahoma in 1982 to live on the Family Farm and worked as Grandpa Ranch Hand. Louise enjoyed to cook, she loved showing her grandchildren how to cook. They enjoyed making cookies and Louise would always tell them that “Cookies can solve all you troubles”. Louise was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son, one grandchild, one great grandchild, and one great great grandchild. Louise left her earthly home on August 7, 2014, in Woodward, Oklahoma.
Louise leaves as her survivors Daughter, Sheila Lanke, Sons Danny and Dustin Ketron; Sister, Jewell Spence of Wellston, Oklahoma; brothers, Ray Dean Gallaher and wife Barbara of Luther, Oklahoma, Walter F Gallaher of Owasso, Oklahoma; 17 Grandchildren, 31 Great Grand Children, and 6 Great Great Children; other relatives and many friends.
