EVA F. MCPHAIL

GATE, OK.

 

Eva Faye McPhail was born on August 13, 1950, in Buffalo, Oklahoma she was the cherished daughter of Lloyd and Barbara Heglin, Eva attended Primary School and High School at Gate, Oklahoma, graduating with the class of 1968. Eva went to college at Southwestern Oklahoma State University where she study commercial art. Eva Helgin and Bruce Mcphail were united in married on July 24, 1971, they were blessed with the greatest joy, a son Tyson was born. Later in life Eva and Tyson made their home at Gate, Oklahoma. Eva worked as the secretary for Beaver County Dist. 1, for 25 years before she retired. Eva was known for her kind and generous spirit, investing every ounce of herself in her family and her beloved animals.  Eva enjoyed attending craft showing and sharing her love of painting. where her vibrant spirit flourished.  Eva enjoyed attending her grandson activities and cheering for them at various sporting activities.  Eva's family meant the world to her, and she cherished every moment she spent with them.  Eva hobbies brought her immense joy and allowed her to express her creativity. Eva was preceded in death by her parents Lloyd and Barbara Heglin.  On August 22, 2023 Eva Faye McPhail left her earthly plains and went to her be with her Lord and Savior.  Eva is survived by her son; Tyson McPhail and wife Staci of Ashland, Kansas, grandson; Kash McPhail of Manhattan, Kansas, Lathan McPhail of Ashland, Kansas, brothers Thomas Helgin and wife Marty of Gate, Oklahoma, Arlis Heglin of Gate, Oklahoma, nieces and nephews, Kodel, Rissie, Trapper, and Tucker.  Eva will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.  Her kind and generous spirit, as well as her artistic talents, will forever be remember and cherished.  May she rest in peace.

Graveside service 9:00AM Friday August 25, 2023 Gate Cemetery, Gate, Oklahoma.
