Claudia Lemons

Claudia Coleen Lemons, was born on August 21st, 1945 at Woodward, Oklahoma, the middle child of Sterling Prophet and Billie (Morris) Prophet, and left her earthly home on Saturday March 23, 2024 at the age of 78. Claudia attended the Buffalo High School, graduating with the class of 1963 as salutatorian of her class. 

Claudia's had a passion for sewing that began in High School and made all of her own clothing throughout her life. At the age of 15 she began working with her mother Billie at Harper's Cafe, at the same time her mother taught her to drive taking them both to work at the cafe. Claudia met her future husband Delbert, when he was living next door. thus began their family life's journey of raising 4 boys. 

Claudia also as an accountant for Buffalo Co-op, ASCS, and other various businesses in Buffalo. Claudia worked at Harper's Cafe on and off for many years, before taking on the cafe to see if there was opportunity to purchase. Claudia enjoyed, gardening, working in the yard, sewing, various craft projects, and especially time with her grandkids, and great grandkids, and her boys.  Claudia was a kind and witty lady, that will truly be missed by her family and friends.   

Claudia is survived by her brother, Duane (Mary) Prophet, son, Mitchell Lemons, Monty (Tonja) Lemons, Mark Lemons, Grandchildren Christopher Lemons, Lynn Lemons, Sasha Newby, Great Grandchildren Marcella Sneath, Xanders Sneath, Maxton Lemons, Cora Lemons, Maverick Lemons, Raiden Barton, Paiteu Barton, Brinley Barton.
