Clarence Long

Clarence Edward Long,81 of Buffalo, Oklahoma passed away on May 21, 2025. Clarence (Eddy) Long, was born on January 30, 1944 to Leroy and Letha Long in Laverne, Oklahoma.

Clarence graduated from Laverne High School in Laverne OK in 1962.

Clarence married Merlind Diane Richardson on December 23 1965, to this union three daughters were born, Susan, Tricia, and Brigette. After their divorce he married Carol Gokey in 1993. He spent many years working in the oilfield industry until a working injury made him unable to work. When Clarence was younger, he enjoyed in the gardening, taking his girls fishing or to a wrestling match. He was still a speed demon on the road at the age of 80. Clarence was preceded in death by his parents Leroy and Letha Long, wife Carol, sister Judy Walker, brothers Carl and Clifford Long. Clarence is survived by daughters, Susan Mitchell and husband Jason of Oklahoma City , Tricia Cole and husband Dustin of Muskogee, OK. and Brigette McGarrah of McLoud, OK, grandchildren-Joshua Mitchell, Chandler, Montana, Evan and Tyla Cole, Colby and Cadence McGarrah Stepdaughters-Dana Stanton and Tracie Bouziden and their families Siblings-Carolyn Hinnant and Cecil Long both of Buffalo, OK. and Elizabeth Long of Rogue River, OR.
